Asking prices

Prices appear here as soon as there are offers with a price. Post the first one

How it works

Buy and sell directly, between professionals.

Producers and buyers publish their offers and requests here, talk through the site's messages and close the deal between themselves. No middlemen and no commission.

  • Free, no commission
  • One NIF, one account
  • European Commission official reference

Two sides of the same market

Sellers post offers; buyers post requests. Each says what they have or what they need, and the other side finds it.

Offers

For sellers

Producers, cooperatives and anyone with produce to sell.

  1. Step 1: Register your business

With the NIF, the municipality and a contact. It's free and takes a few minutes; then you only need to confirm your email.

  2. Step 2: Post the offer

Choose the product and give the quantity, the price per unit (or “to be agreed”) and the location. Add up to 5 photos.

  3. Step 3: Reply to those who contact you

Messages arrive in your account and we let you know by email. You only share your phone and email when you want to.

  4. Step 4: Close the deal directly

You agree on price, delivery and payment with the buyer. At the end, mark the listing as sold: it helps show real prices.

Requests

For buyers

Industry, trade, food service and anyone who needs raw material.

  1. Step 1: Explore the market

Filter by product, region and production method. You don't need an account to see listings and prices.

  2. Step 2: Compare with the reference

For each product you see the available quantity, the average asking price and the European Commission's official price.

  3. Step 3: Contact the seller

Send a message from the listing. For that, you need an account with a confirmed email.

  4. Step 4: Agree on everything directly

Terms, transport and payment are between you and the seller. Can't find what you need? Post a request.

The Verified badge

All businesses register with a NIF and there is only one account per NIF. Some are also marked Verified: means that our team has manually checked the business's details.

The badge helps you choose who to talk to, but it's not a guarantee about the products or the fulfilment of the deal.

Want the badge for your business? Ask for it through the contact page.

Trust signals you'll find

  • Verified

Business details confirmed by our team.

  • NIF in a valid format

The NIF has a valid format and check digit. It doesn't confirm who the business is: that's what the “Verified” badge is for.

  • Member since…

How long the business has been registered.

  • Valid until…

Each listing shows when it was published and when it expires.

  • Report

Anyone can report a suspicious listing.

How reference prices work

Each product has its own market page, with four figures and a chart of the last 52 weeks comparing the platform's price with the official reference.

Available quantity
The sum of the product's active offers.
Average asking price
The average of the offer prices, weighted by quantity: an offer of 20 t counts more than one of 200 kg.
Average offered price
The same calculation with the requests: what buyers are prepared to pay.
Official reference
The weekly price published by the European Commission for Portugal, when there is one: the national average or, if there isn't one, a reference market.

  • “To be agreed” listings count towards the quantity, but not the price.
  • We always show how many listings each average is based on.
  • Official prices are converted to the product's unit (for example, from €/100 kg to €/kg).
  • These figures are for information only: the price of each deal is whatever the parties agree.

Negotiating safely

The deal is between you and the other party. These simple rules avoid most problems.

  • Start with the site's messages

Talk here first. Share your phone and email only when you feel comfortable.

  • Check who you're dealing with

Open the business's profile: how long it has been registered, whether it has the Verified badge and what other listings it has.

  • Be wary of what seems too good to be true

Prices far below the market, pressure to pay or requests for personal data are warning signs.

  • Agree on everything in writing

Price, quantity, quality, place and date of delivery, transport and payment. Always ask for an invoice.

  • See the goods before paying

For large quantities, ask for a sample or arrange a visit. Avoid paying everything in advance to someone you don't know yet.

  • Protect your account

Use a password just for this site. We never ask for your password by email, message or phone.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find the answer? Talk to us.

Is it free?

Yes. Registering, posting listings and contacting other businesses costs nothing, and we don't charge commission on deals.

If paid services are ever introduced, they will be optional and we will give notice in advance.

The site is paid for by companies that sell to the sector (advertising and the services directory). The prices are in the price list.

Who can register?

Any business with a valid Portuguese NIF that buys or sells farm, livestock or forestry products in the course of its business: producers, cooperatives, industry, trade, food service, among others.

There is one account per NIF and whoever creates it must be at least 18 years old. The platform is for professionals, not for private purchases.

Does the platform take part in the deal?

No. agroeurope is a listings space: we don't buy or sell, we don't receive payments, we don't handle transport and we don't guarantee the deal.

The agreement is made directly between the parties, who are responsible for it. The details are in the terms of use.

Why don't listings show phone numbers or emails?

To protect you from spam and abusive contacts. You talk first through the site's messages and each side decides when to share their contact details.

What products can I list?

Farm, livestock and forestry products in the catalogue: olive oil, cereals, fruit, vegetables, wine, live animals, cork, forage and much more. If a product is missing, you can suggest it on the products page.

How long does a listing stay published?

60 days. We email you 7 days before it expires and you can renew it in your account. An expired listing can still be renewed in the following 30 days.

How do I report a listing?

Every listing has a “Report” button. Choose the reason and, if you want, explain what's going on. We review the reports and, if you leave your email (or have an account), we tell you what we decided.

I forgot my password. What now?

Use Recover your password: we email you a link valid for 1 hour.

How do I delete my account?

On your account, choose “Delete account” and confirm with your password. We immediately delete the business, the listings and the photos. In the conversations that remain, your name will appear as “Deleted account”.

What do you do with my data?

Only what's needed for the platform to work. Your contact details never appear on public pages, there's no personalised advertising and no third-party analytics tools. Read the privacy policy.
